Things don’t always go according to plan in high performance, top speed motorcycle drag racing and sometimes a very minor part failure and create an expensive and frustrating problem. In this clip we see a GSXR 1000 encounter a problem with the nitrous system, a HAYABUSA slip in his own oil after the burnout and Nitro Harley racer Michael Beland torch one of his cyclinder heads resulting in a Harley drag bike motor explosion due to a fuel pump failure. Fortunately all of these riders were uninjured. Beland’s worst injury came to the pocket book as he did about $2000 worth of damage to his new Top Fuel Harley. It doesn’t not take long for drag racing to get expensive. What was your most frustrating parts failure?
